Ranks -
There are several ranks in a hierarchy on the Wolf City server. Promotion through these ranks is only up to the discretion of the owner. Sometimes it happens fast, and sometimes it doesn't.
So you want to be promoted? How does it happen? The first thing you need to do is completely abstain from asking anyone about promotion. NEVER ASK THE OWNER, ADMINS, OR MODS! You will never be promoted if you do so.
"So then how do I get promoted?"
In the first place you need to be trusted. This happens by playing on the server and being polite, helpful, and honest. Following all rules at all times is the fast track to being trusted.
You must be valuable to the server. This means that you must build things. Awesome things. Lots of awesome things.
Additionally, offering to help other players, and actually helping them, is another way to make yourself valuable.
Lastly, contributing ideas is another excellent way to be helpful. (Submit them here on this site, not in chat on the server).

The Ranks!
Guest - This is the default when you log on the server. You have almost zero rights. You may explore and you may chat. That is all. In order to become a User you must read and agree to the rules posted in Wolf City Town Hall.
User - Most players are users on Wolf City server. They have build rights and the ability to use some simple commands.
Mod (Moderator) - These are the police and watchdogs of the server. They have all
rights of Users and the ability to kick & ban. Also, they access to more commands.
Admin - These players help the server run smoothly. They have all the rights and responsibilities of Mods, but also help settle major disputes. They have access to even more advanced commands.

Builder - This rank is not part of the normal hierarchy. There is only one way to become a builder! Building. Building big. Building awesome. Building lots of awesome.
Builders have the rights of a user and access to the all of the WorldEdit commands.
Owner - There is only one owner, (ManIntoWolf). There will never be a co-owner. Period.
